Communities Against Turbines Scotland would like to thank all those MSP’s who were brave enough to contribute to the debate in the Scottish Parliament last Thursday evening. We were all heartened to hear some of our many concerns being discussed, at last,in the Scottish Parliament - and we cannot thank Graeme Pearson enough for his on- going support of CATS and his determination to tackle fuel poverty. We would also like to thank Chic Brodie for his recognition of what CATS is doing.When we first formed (only last April 2011), it was CATS initial aim to instigate a debate in the Scottish Parliament! That done there is much work to follow……watch this space!
Following our Scottish National Conference in Ayr on 11th November – DVDs available, It was agreed that CATS would act as a voice for all the wind farm action groups in Scotland and that we would work together and support each other to save lives being wrecked; livelihoods and our precious environment from being destroyed by what ultimately is greed.
